<review>This is the first in the series of 5 books. The background is set, and pretty much only one character is developed. If you start this expecting fast and furious action, and a fairly easy read, then you will not be dissapointed. Pretty much everybody is a scoundrel in the book - it is only the depth of their depravities that varies. Overall, pretty good pulp fiction.</review>
